From May to October, it is possible to walk along the shore of the falls. After thousand of years of erosion, several rock pools have formed and one of them was right on the very edge of the sheer drop.
There are tourist guides in attendance who are there to make sure you do not over the edge. The view from the edge is so exhilarating that you can feel the force of the water crashing down over the precipice.
