Jiuzhai's landscape is made up of high- altitude shaped by glacial hydrological and tectonic activity, there are differents lakes green, blue and turquoise.
The park is home to nine Tibetan villages, over two hundren twenty birds species as well as a number of plants and animal species, incluiding the giant panda.
